The inaugural SkiErg Open took place today at the Craft Arena in Kosta, marking the first official SkiErg competition on Swedish soil. Check out the results.

The inaugural SkiErg Open in Kosta delivered thrilling racing this Sunday, including two new World Records. The event featured a 5000-meter prologue followed by a final with the six fastest athletes from each gender. Several Ski Classics Pro Team stars were on the start line.

Women’s event

On the women’s side, Jenny Larsson, Lager 157 Ski Team, showcased her excellent form, crossing the finish line in 18:32.3 and setting a new World Record.

Ski Classics Pro Tour overall winner for Season XVI, Anikken Gjerde Alnæs, Team Engcon, put in a strong performance to finish second, while Karolina Hedenström, Lager 157 Ski Team, completed the podium.

Second place went to Mathias Aas Rolid, Team Aker Dæhlie, closely followed by Elias Andersson, Ski Team Göhlins, in third place.
