The Ski Classics Challengers event, American Birkebeiner, took place this Saturday with a 50km long-distance skiing race in freestyle technique from Cable to Hayward, Wisconsin, USA. Check out the results.

The Ski Classics Challengers event, American Birkebeiner, took place this Saturday with a 50km long-distance skiing race in freestyle technique from Cable to Hayward, Wisconsin, USA. Check out the results.

After a day full of action, the Ski Classics Challengers event in the USA, American Birkebeiner, saw a fierce battle for all the podium places. Ultimately, Gérard Agnellet and Sydney Palmer-Leger won their respective races with solid performances.

American Birkebeiner – 50km Skating Men’s Race

In the men’s event, the winner, Gérard Agnellet, completed the race in a time of 2:25:06.7.

David Norris finished in second place, 1:30.6 behind, followed by Michael Earnhart, completing the podium in third position and 2:10.2 back.

American Birkebeiner – 50km Skating Women’s Race 

In the women’s competition, the winner, Sydney Palmer-Leger, completed the event in a total time of 2:25:06.7.

Jessica Yeaton finished in second place, 1.6 seconds back, followed by Lauren Jortberg, 3.0 seconds behind the winner, and completing the podium in third place.
