After an impressive sprint, let’s find out what Max Novak, Team Ramudden, says about his first podium and Visma Ski Classics victory in today’s Pustertaler Ski Marathon.

“It is fantastic, I had a good summer, not so good Premiere in Orsa, and now this victory means so much to me and for the whole team. We had a plan, and it worked out. I’m so glad I could bring it home.”

This is Novak’s first podium and victory in the Visma Ski Classics Pro Tour, and he has been working hard towards his first win.

“I was so close a few times, and sometimes I doubted it was possible, but today I felt that I get to go for it. I also had good skis that made it easier to achieve this.”

Novak is already looking for tomorrow’s Prato Piazza Mountain Challenge.

“I will first recover and then try to defend the bib,” Max Novak concludes.
