Toppidrettsveka 2024 had its first day this Wednesday with a 56km mass start classic roller ski race in Hitra, Norway. Silje Øyre Slind, Team Aker Dæhlie, won with a solid performance.

Toppidrettsveka Hitra – Women’s Race

After an impressive performance, Silje Øyre Slind, Team Aker Dæhlie, took first place today at the 56km classic roller ski race. Astrid Øyre Slind, Team Aker Dæhlie, snagged second place, and Rosie Brennan, Team Robinson Trentino, completed the podium in third place.

Tomorrow, Thursday, August 15, it’s time for the 1.4km sprint in classic technique. On Friday, a 20 kilometers mass start race awaits the skiers, and on Saturday, a 12-km pursuit race in freestyle technique is on the menu.
