Scheduled to take place from August 14 to 17, 2024, this year’s edition of the Toppidrettsveka offers four days of events for traditional cross-country skiing athletes, long-distance skiers, and activities for children and young people.

Since its inception in 2005, Toppidrettsveka has flourished into one of the world’s largest and most important summer ski competitions. Each year, it attracts a star-studded international field that rivals the stature of a World Cup event. Toppidrettsveka represents a meaningful opportunity for many top-tier athletes to reunite and compete following the World Cup final in March.

A solid presence of Pro Team athletes and elite traditional cross-country skiers is confirmed for this year’s edition. The full list can be found below, but the start list includes Johan Hoel, Kasper Stadaas, Andrew Musgrave, William Poromaa, Hugo Lapalus, Max Novak, Eirik Sverdrup Augdal, Perttu Hyvärinen, Calle Halfvarsson, Morten Eide Pedersen, Amund Riege, Remi Lindholm, Theo Schely, Torleif Syrstad, Magnus Vesterheim, Ole Jørgen Bruvoll, Eddie Edström, Herman Paus, Patrick Fossum Kristoffersen, Thomas Gifstad, Jakob Walther, Thomas Joly, among others in the men’s field.

On the women’s side, solid names will be on the start line, for example, Astrid Øyre Slind, Rosie Brennan, Magni Smedås, Delphine Claudel, Moa Ilar, Hanna Lodin, Katarina Janatova, Julie Kvale Støstad, Silje Øyre Slind, Guro Jordheim, Oda Nerdrum, Tove Ericsson, Tova Andersson, Emma Jönsson, Hanna Fine, and Alba Björnsdotter, among others.
