The Pro Tour continues with Marcialonga on Sunday, January 26, 2025. Covering a challenging 70-kilometer course, the event marks the sixth Ski Classics stage and the first Grand Classics event of Season XVI.

In 1971, Marcialonga was conceived by a group of passionate Italians seeking to emulate the famous Vasaloppet and forge their own legendary race. Over the years, this event has garnered recognition and acclaim, having been awarded the title “Best Event of the Year” in Ski Classics on three occasions, the last at Season XV.

At the forefront of Marcialonga’s appeal lies its distinctive atmosphere and a course that winds through historical villages, leaving an unforgettable mark on skiers.

“As the first of the four Grand Classics, Marcialonga is one of the monuments and most prestigious events to win. After this weekend, we will know which two Pro Team athletes remain in contention for completing the Grand Slam XVI. For all of us in the Pro Tour, to go to Val di Fiemme and Val di Fassa late January every year is a true privilege,” says Ski Classics Director David Nilsson.
