The Ski Classics Challengers event, Botniavasan, took place this Sunday with a 52km long-distance skiing race in classic technique in Vöra, Finland. Check out the results.

The Ski Classics Challengers event, Botniavasan, took place this Sunday with a 52km long-distance skiing race in classic technique in Vöra, Finland. Check out the results.

After a day of action, the Ski Classics Challengers event in Finland, Botniavasan, saw Pro Team athletes winning the long-distance skiing event. Amanda Nyfors, Team Mäenpää, and Isac Holmström, Team Edux, were today’s winners.

Botniavasan – 52km Women’s Race

In the women’s event, the winner Amanda Nyfors, Team Mäenpää, completed the race in a time of 2:28:18.1.

Julia Häger, IF Minken, finished in second place, 3:32.7 behind, followed by Mervi Vanhäkylä, Team Electrofit, completing the podium in third position and 17:24.9 back.

Botniavasan – 52km Men’s Race 

In the men’s competition, the winner was Isac Holmström, Team Edux, with a total time of 2:13:12.1.

Lauri Mannila, Team Mannila, finished in second place, 9.3 seconds back, followed by Niko Koskela, Lakiaforest, 29.3 seconds behind the winner, and completing the podium in third place.
