The Ski Classics Challengers event, Marcia Gran Paradiso, took place this Sunday with a shortened 30km long-distance skiing race in classic technique in Cogne, Italy. Check out the results.

The Ski Classics Challengers event, Marcia Gran Paradiso, took place this Sunday with a shortened 30km long-distance skiing race in classic technique in Cogne, Italy. Check out the results.

With sunshine and warm weather, the Ski Classics Challengers event in Italy, Marcia Gran Paradiso, saw a fierce battle for the top places on the podium. In the end, Kati Roivas, Team Eksjöhus, and Fabián Štoček, Vltava Fund Ski Team, won their respective races with solid performances.

Marcia Gran Paradiso – 30km Women’s Race

In the women’s event, the winner Katia Roivas, Team Eksjöhus, completed the race in a time of 1:19:58.9.

Hanna Fine, Team Vercors Isère, finished in second place, 6:35.7 behind, followed by Maya Even, Team Vercors Isère, completing the podium in third position and 8:29.3 back.

  1. Katia Roivas, Team Eksjöhus, 1:19:58.9
  2. Hanna Fine, Team Vercors Isère, +6:35.7
  3. Maya Even, Team Vercors Isère, +8:29.3

  5. Marthe Charvolin, +19:43.5

Marcia Gran Paradiso – 30km Men’s Race 

In the men’s competition, the winner was Fabián Štoček, Vltava Fund Ski Team, with a total time of 1:12:18.4.

Maurice Manificat finished in second place, 0.8 seconds back, followed by Sabin Coupat, Team Nordic Expérience, 4.4 seconds behind the winner, and completing the podium in third place.
