The Ski Classics Challengers event, Dolomitenlauf 2024, took place this Sunday with a 42km long-distance skiing race in classic technique in Obertilliach, Austria. Check out the results.

After a day full of action, the Ski Classics Challengers event in Austria, Dolomitenlauf, saw the Ski Classics Pro Team, Team Internorm Alpenplus Trentino dominating the 42km long-distance race. Francesco Ferrari and Heli Heiskanen, both from Team Internorm Alpenplus Trentino, won their respective races with solid performances.

Dolomitenlauf – 42km Men’s Race 

In the men’s competition, the winner was Francesco Ferrari, Team Internorm Alpenplus Trentino, with a total time of 1:48:58.3.

Lorenzo Busin, Team Internorm Alpenplus Trentino, finished in second place, 0.5 seconds back, followed by Mauro Brigadoi, Team Internorm Alpenplus Trentino, 1.5 seconds behind the winner, and completing the podium in third place.

Dolomitenlauf – 42km Women’s Race

In the women’s event, the winner Heli Heiskanen, Team Internorm Alpenplus Trentino, completed the race in a time of 2:03:27.3.

Anna Schmidhofer, Team Internorm Alpenplus Trentino, finished in second place, 8:52.8 behind, followed by Madelene Melin, Team Futura Trentino GTE Elettrica, completing the podium in third position and 16:12.9 back.

The Dolomitenlauf 42km classic race is a Ski Classics Challengers event. Pro Team registered athletes could collect points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in their respective genders.
