Lager 157 Ski Team strengthens the Pro Team for Season XV. The Swedish athlete Oskar Kardin is switching teams from Team Ragde Charge.

Lager 157 Ski Team is preparing for the season 2023/2024 with a training camp in Ulricehamn, Sweden, and also will present Season XV’s Pro Team, starting with a solid name already known to fans and followers of Ski Classics. Oskar Kardin is joining the ranks of the Swedish Pro Team.

Oskar Kardin was a member of Team Ragde Charge for the past few seasons but is now taking a step back to Sweden and the Lager 157 Ski Team.

“We have been interested in Oskar for many years, and now he is joining the team,” says Pro Team Director Anton Järnberg.

Kardin’s most significant achievement so far is the win at La Diagonela in 2021, but he has shown over several seasons that he is one of Ski Classic’s best skiers.

“I’ve had many great seasons in Ragde that really helped me in my development,” says Kardin and continues: “But now it feels very exciting and inspiring to try something new with Lager 157 Ski Team.

Kardin has made a name for himself as a loyal team skier with excellent skills during his years in Team Ragde Charge, which appeals to Järnberg.

“That Oskar has been under our radar for a long time is no secret, I really like how he competes very offensively and with great skills that will make us even better next season,” concludes Järnberg.

The Lager 157 Ski Team for the next Ski Classics season will be presented during Saturday’s team launch, first with a Roller Skiing competition 157 XC Criterium at 10:00 CET, then at 13:00 CET with the team launch. The events will be broadcast live on the team’s Facebook.
