The Västgötaloppet will take place on February 6–7, 2027, at Lassalyckan Vasaloppet Center in Ulricehamn, marking the 99th edition of the race. Both main events will follow the same 42-kilometer course, with freestyle on Saturday and classic style on Sunday. Västgötaloppet Classic and Skate are part of the Ski Classics Challengers.

The entry fee for the 42-kilometer classic race is currently 650 kronor and will increase to 700 kronor on November 2.
