US Team For Tour de Ski 2022/2023

Tour de Ski 2022/2023 starts on New Year’s Eve. The USA Cross-Country Skiing Team is presented.

Now in its 17th edition, Tour de Ski consists of seven competitions over nine days in three different countries, and it’s the fifth round of the 2022/2023 FIS World Cup. 

In a press release, the US cross-country program director Chris Grover has announced the athletes for Tour de Ski. The US Team will start with 18 athletes. On the women’s side, USA will begin with eight skiers. Already on the men’s side, ten athletes will start for the country.

  • Tour de Ski 2022/2023 starts in Val Müstair, Switzerland, on December 31 and concludes in Val di Fiemme, Italy, on January 8. 
  • The race consists of seven stages in nine days.
  • Tour de Ski 2022/2023 is the 17th edition of the brutal stage race. 

New this season is the same race distances for women and men in all World Cup events, as the International Ski & Snowboard Federation (FIS) decided in May. Several other changes have also been introduced to the World Cup.
