Team USA to The 2022 Olympics

The US Olympic Committee has named 14 cross-country skiers to the Winter Games in Beijing in February. This is Team USA to the 2022 Olympics.

The cross-country roster for Team USA to the 2022 Olympics counts 14 athletes: eight women and six men. The team is young and eager, with an average age of 24.5 years. Only five of the 14 skiers are over 25 years old.  

The United States have posted strong results internationally for year, especially on the women’s side. The team has also secured medals and solid performances in the FIS U23 and Junior World Championships. Many of these athletes are now headed for the 2022 Olympics in Beijing. 

In total, the United States are sending 200 athletes to the upcoming Winter Games, for all sports combined.

Despite the increase in Covid infections world-wide due to the Omicron variety of the virus, the organizers recently announced that the Games will not be postponed or cancelled. However, there are no spectator tickets for sale to the general public.
