Swiss, French and Italian Teams for the Ruka World Cup

The cross-country skiing World Cup starts this weekend in Ruka. The Swiss, French, and Italian teams are now selected.

The cross-country skiing World Cup starts this weekend in Ruka. The Swiss, French, and Italian teams are now selected.

Ruka, Finland, is the place of this year’s World Cup premiere. The event begins on Friday, November 25, with a sprint race in classic technique. On Saturday, November 26, a 10km classic style race with individual start awaits. And on Sunday, November 27, the World Cup premiere weekend ends with a 20km pursuit race in freestyle technique. 

Switzerland, France, and Italy have named their cross-country ski teams for the upcoming World Cup premiere in Ruka. Switzerland will start with 8 athletes, France with 10, and Italy with 7 cross-country skiers.
