Swedish Team For The Rollerski World Cup Final

This year’s Rollerski World Cup ends this weekend in Italy. The Swedish Team is now selected, and one of the members, Linn Sömskar, is chasing her second overall victory.

Rieti, Italy, is the place of this year’s last three rollerski World Cup competitions. The event begins on Friday with a 5-kilometer freestyle race with an individual start. On Saturday, a mass start uphill race over 14 kilometers awaits. And on Sunday, the World Cup ends with a super sprint.

Sweden will start with six athletes, and it is noteworthy that they all were on the podium in the World Cup earlier in the year.

In the women’s overall cup, Linn Sömskar leads, even though she did not start at the last World Cup round (which coincided with Alliansloppet). Sömskar is looking for her second overall victory in the World Cup and is 85 points ahead of the Italian Elisa Sordello. Jackline Lockner is fourth overall.

On the men’s junior side, Sweden will start with three athletes. Anton Grahn leads the World Cup overall; Malte Jutterdal is second, and Jonatan Lindberg is fourth.

On the women’s junior side, Sweden is represented by Ebba Johansson, who is eighth in the World Cup overall.

Here is the Swedish Team:
