The Junior and U23 World Ski Championships start at the end of January. The Swedish Under-23 Team is presented for the event in Whistler, Canada, from January 28 to February 4.

In a press release, the Swedish Ski Association named their U23 cross-country ski team for the Junior World Championships. Sweden will start with ten athletes. On the women’s side, Sweden will begin with five skiers. Already on the men’s side, also five athletes will begin for the Scandinavian country.

The Swedish national team will travel to Canada on Thursday to prepare for the nine days of championships at the Whistler Olympic Park, the venue that hosted the 2010 Olympic ski events.

After the canceled competitions in Rovaniemi, Finland, the Scandinavian Cup moved to Falun, Sweden, from January 13 to 15, and the Swedish U23 team was presented on Monday, January 16.
