Sweden’s National Team For The Lillehammer World Cup

The cross-country skiing World Cup heads to Norway this weekend in Lillehammer. The Swedish national team is nominated.

Ebba Andersson and Moa Ilar are two of the Swedish skiers nominated for the World Cup in Lillehammer, Norway.

Lillehammer, Norway, is the place of this year’s second stop for the cross-country skiing World Cup. The event begins on Friday, December 02, with a 10km individual start in freestyle technique. 

On Saturday, December 3, a sprint race in freestyle technique awaits. And on Sunday, December 4, the World Cup weekend ends with a 20km mass start in classic style. 

In a press release, the Swedish Ski Association has named their cross-country ski team for the upcoming World Cup in Lillehammer. Sweden will start with 22 athletes. On the women’s side, Sweden will begin with 10 skiers. Already on the men’s side, 12 athletes will start for the Scandinavian country.
