No Russian And Belarusian Participation At FIS Competitions

The FIS Council decided that teams and athletes from Russia and Belarus will not be allowed to participate in FIS events in the coming winter season. 

The International Ski & Snowboard Federation (FIS) Council decided on Saturday, October 22, during its Fall meeting in Soelden, Austria, to not allow Russian and Belarusian teams and athletes to participate in all FIS competitions.

“Russia and Belarus Participation at FIS Events

The FIS Council decided, with due regard to the integrity of FIS competitions and for the safety of all participants, and in line with IOC recommendations, to continue its policy to not allow Russian and Belarusian teams and athletes, to participate in all FIS competitions.”
