Klæbo Wins Again In Ruka. Can Anyone Beat Him This Season?

by Leandro Lutz • 27.11.2022
Three wins in three days. After recovering from an injury earlier this year, Johannes Høsflot Klæbo found his usual form and won for the third time at the Ruka weekend premiere in Finland. Results from the men’s 20km freestyle pursuit race.

Johannes Høsflot Klæbo secured another first place in the men’s 20km freestyle pursuit race and his 51st World Cup victory in a dominant performance at the Ruka Cross-Country Skiing World Cup.

Johannes Høsflot Klæbo finished first place today in the 20km freestyle pursuit race at the Ruka World Cup. Pål Golberg finished in second, 0.7 seconds behind the winner.

Jury Decision On Third Place

Calle Halfvarsson, from Sweden, finished the race in third place, 1.0 seconds behind Klæbo, but later, in a jury decision, was disqualified for going off-piste on the last hill before the finish.

In this sense, Federico Pellegrino, from Italy, completed the podium in third place.
