French team for the Canmore and Minneapolis World Cups
Canmore, Canada, is the place for the next stage of this year’s cross-country skiing World Cup. The Canmore World Cup starts on Friday, February 9, with a 10km interval start race in freestyle technique, followed by a sprint race in freestyle technique on Saturday, February 10, then a 20km mass start race in classic technique on Sunday, February 11, and a sprint race in classic technique on Tuesday, February 13.
After Canmore, it’s time for the Minneapolis World Cup, starting on Saturday, February 17 with a sprint race in freestyle technique and ending with a 10km interval start race in freestyle technique on Sunday, February 18, 2024
In a press release, the French Ski Federation has named their cross-country ski team for the upcoming World Cups in Canmore and Minneapolis. France will start with 11 athletes. On the women’s side, France will start with four skiers. Already on the men’s side, seven athletes will start for the European country.
