Finland’s Team to the World Cup in Davos

by Ingeborg Scheve • 09.12.2021
Finnish star Krista Pärmäkoski is among the 13 Finnish skiers racing the World Cup events in Switzerland on December 11 and 12.

Krista Pärmäkoski sat out the World Cup in Lillehammer last weekend due to a minor cold.

Aiming for her fourth Olympics in February, the seasoned 30-year-old isn’t taking any chances with early season racing. However, Pärmäkoski will be back on the course this weekend for both the sprint and the distance events in Davos, Switzerland.

On the men’s side, Iivo Niskanen will lead the 7-skier squad. Missing are Ristomatti Hakola, who injured his ribs when he crashed into a fence at the World Cup season opener in Ruka, and sprint specialist Joni Mäki.
