Canada’s Team For The World Championships In Planica

With less than two weeks to go until the opening ceremony of the 2023 World Championships in Planica, Slovenia, get to know the Canadian National Team.

Antoine Cyr is one of the Canadian skiers named to the World Championships in Planica, Slovenia.

Planica, Slovenia, is the place for this winter season’s World Championships. The Opening Ceremony will be held on February 21, with ten competitions in 12 days and the last race being the men’s cross-country skiing 50km mass start race on March 5, 2023. 

In a press release, Nordiq Canada has named their cross-country skiers for the upcoming World Championships. Canada named 12 athletes. On the women’s side, Canada presented 6 skiers. On the men’s side, 6 athletes are confirmed for the North American country.
