Nygaard has been at the top of Ski Classics for eight years

The Ski Classics season is behind us, and Pro Team athletes have already set their sights firmly on the next season. Ahead lies an intense training period, with the summer months dedicated to basic training and the intensity of training ramped up in the fall. In between, there’s the traditional roller skiing competition season, where skiers get to measure the work, they’ve put in over the summer. One of Ski Classics’ biggest stars, Andreas Nygaard, once again had a successful winter, finishing third overall in the Champion competition, behind two of his teammates. However, Nygaard’s training season hasn’t started off in the best possible way.

Nygaard ready for Energamo Lipnolopet

Andreas Nygaard, Team Ragde Charge, is one of the favorites for Saturday’s Challengers event, Energamo Lipnolopet. Still, the Ski Classics Legend is far from sure of victory in the tough Czech roller ski race.
