This year’s edition of the Stockholm Marathon took place this weekend, and a new participation record was set.

The Stockholm Marathon was held this Saturday on the streets of the Swedish capital. Nearly 24.000 runners had registered, and 19.431 of them made it to the start line. Several skiing profiles appear in the results list.

On the men’s side, Kenyan Onemus Kiplagat Kiplimo won ahead of his compatriot Edwin Kosgei. The winning time was 2:11:34. Johannes Eklöf, who competes for Ski Team Göhlins in Ski Classics, impressed a few weeks ago at the Swedish Half Marathon Championships. This weekend, he followed that up by finishing 23rd overall in the Stockholm Marathon with a time of 02:28:25. He placed a strong 13th in the Swedish Championships.
