Three days of action this week in Finland. On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, it’s time for the Lapponia Ski Week.

Three days of racing at Lapponia Ski Week starting tomorrow.

Lapponia Ski Week offers unforgettable skiing in unique scenery, with sunshine and snow galore on superb trails from magical forests to wide-open lakes and fells. Organized since 1978, Lapponia Ski event challenges skiers throughout the skiing week with three starts on three different days.

As Lapponia Ski Week is held in the same week as the Visma Ski Classics Final of the Pro Tour, points received for the Champion and Youth competition will be counted for the coming Season XIII, 2022/2023.

On Monday, April 4, Lapponia Ski Week kicks off with a 60km long-distance race. With a rest day between each stage, the competition continues with 50km on Wednesday, April 6, and finally 80km on Friday, April 8. All the three Visma Ski Classics Challengers races this week have to be skied in freestyle technique, summing up a total of 190km.

Long-distance skiers competing in the entire race, which means on all three stages, collect points that count to the overall Visma Ski Classics ranking. In addition to the 3-stage main competition, shorter distances and classic technique are offered for those who wish to end the season in a different way.
