Sovereign 2 SilverStar Ski Marathon – Classic, a Ski Classics Challengers event, took place this Sunday with a 40km long-distance race in classic technique in Vernon, Canada. Get to know the winners.

Sovereign 2 SilverStar Ski Marathon – Classic, a Ski Classics Challengers event, took place this Sunday with a 40km long-distance race in classic technique in Vernon, Canada. Get to know the winners.

After a full day of skiing, the Ski Classics Challengers event Sovereign 2 SilverStar Ski Marathon – Classic saw Julien Locke and Novie McCabe winning their respective races.

Sovereign 2 SilverStar Ski Marathon – Classic – Men’s Race

In the men’s race, the winner was Julien Locke, Team Black Jack, completing the race in a time of 1:58:08.2.

Luke Jager, Team USA, finished in second place, with a total time of 1:59:16.2, followed by Scott Hill, Team Hardwood, completing the podium in the third position and a total time of 1:59.56.3.

Sovereign 2 SilverStar Ski Marathon – Classic – Women’s Race

In the women’s competition, the winner was Novie McCabe, Team USA, with a total time of 2:08:25.7. 

Olivia Bouffard-Nesbitt, Fondeurs-Laurentides, finished in second place, with a time of 2:15:57.0, followed by Dahria Beatty, Whitehorse Ski Club, with a total time of 2:17:36.2, and completing the podium in the third position.
