Janteloppet becomes part of the Ski Classics Challengers circuit with a 20 kilometers long race in freestyle technique in Hafjell, Norway.

The event is a unique 20km skiing race created by the legendary traditional cross-country skier and Pro Tour athlete Petter Northug Jr, Team Northug Crucible. The event joins the Ski Classics Challengers calendar to celebrate its 6th edition on April 8, 2023.

The mass start race brings together the World’s top skiers, young talents, enthusiasts, recreational skiers, and Easter tourists. Janteloppet delivers fun, memorable moments and competitive spirit in equal proportions.

The Local Organizing Committee is pleased to be joining the Ski Classics Challengers circuit:

“Being part of the Ski Classics Challengers is a unique opportunity for Janteloppet to become the largest cross-country ski race held on Easter,” and continues:

“Scheduled at the end of the season, Janteloppet provides an exciting opportunity for both elite and recreational athletes to challenge themselves and joy with its unique track features while enjoying the Easter sunshine in Hafjell, Norway.”

Janteloppet 2023 will take place on Saturday, April 8, and offers a 20km race on both classic and freestyle technique, with the skating race being part of the Ski Classics Challengers calendar.
