Vasaloppet started the Visma Nordic Trophy, combining the Scandinavian Pro Tour events. With their victories in Vasaloppet, Tord Asle Gjerdalen, Team XPND Fuel of Norway, and Lina Korsgren, Team Ramudden, got off to a perfect start of Visma Nordic Trophy.

The victories at Vasaloppet gave Gjerdalen and Korsgren 300 points each because it is a Grand Classics Event. In the remaining events, 200 points will be awarded to the winners.

The next event in Visma Nordic Trophy is 54 km Vålådalsrennet in Sweden on March 20, followed by 100 km Årefjällsloppet in Sweden March 27, 50 km Reistadløpet in Norway April 10, and 70 km Ylläs-Levi in Finland April 17.

Visma Nordic Trophy is awarding EUR 7500 each to the winners. The competition is implemented into the tour together with title partner Visma.
