Today, eDsystem Bauer Team announces on its Facebook page that the Pro Team will be closed down.
“We managed to build a good and successful team! Thanks to everyone who was a part of it! I liked it, but now it’s time to take a different path,” writes Lukáš Bauer

Lukáš Bauer made his decision after two seasons where he was the Polish men’s national team coach and Pro Team Director for the eDsystem Bauer Team.
“I have come to the view that the combination is not favorable for the Pro Team, although at first, I thought it would be possible to combine both. But it was not optimal, and rather than survive, I decided to quit the team,” Bauer writes.
‘“I was thinking about this last year when it turned out that I could not give the team as much time as I would like. The final decision was made after the Vasaloppet, but I wanted to announce it after the end of the season, “he continues.

The Pro Team did seven seasons in the Pro Tour, and the biggest success was 4th place in the Pro Team competition Season VIII and 5th place the season after.

Lukáš Bauer himself was awarded Pro Team Director of the Season 2019.
“It’s a nice memory for me. During these years, I have gotten to know many lovely people. It was a fantastic time, and saying goodbye is difficult.”
