The Ski Classics Challengers event, Bessemerloppet, is a 52km long-distance race in classic technique taking place this Sunday, February 18, 2024, in Högbo Bruk, Sweden.

Bessemerloppet is a classic long-distance cross-country skiing race that has taken place in Högbo Bruk, Sandviken, Sweden, since 1960.

Only two hours North of Stockholm, the race takes place three weekends before Vasaloppet and is the perfect preparation for the World’s largest long-distance ski event.

In addition to the 52km race, which is part of the Ski Classics Challengers series and a seeding event for Vasaloppet, the event offers its participants a 17,5km competition, also in classic technique.

As the Bessemerloppet 52km race is a Ski Classics Challengers event, Pro Team registered athletes can collect points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in their respective genders.
