Friday evening Benzina Orlen Sprint takes place at the Bedřichov stadium. The traditional Friday sprint is a part of the Jizerská 50 program. On the startline, we find several of the best Visma Ski Classics Pro Team athletes. The sprint is broadcasted live on Visma Ski Classics PLAY.

In the women’s class Team Ramuddens strong Swedish trio Lina Korsgren, Ida Dahl, and Jenny Larsson will compete against, for example, Finnish Heli Heiskanen, Slavia Pojistovna Sport Team and Czech Anna Sixtova, eD system Bauer Team.

In the mens race Team Ramuddens Max Novak and Johannes Eklöf race against for example Miroslav Rypl, eD system Bauer Team, Stanislav Rezac, Slavia Pojistovna Sport Team and Fabian Stocék, Vltava Fund Ski Team.

“We increased the prize for the best sprinters last year and I’m glad we’ve managed to keep the high standard of the race even in this exceptional situation. I think the prize money of 50,000 CZK (1923 euro) for the male and female winner is very tempting,” says Pavel Kaidl, the spokesperson for the Benzina ORLEN petrol stations, the main partner of Jizerská 50.

There will be no access for audiences because of the strict hygienic measures. In Czechia you can follow the race live on the ČT Sport channel. For everyone else, the sprint is broadcasted live on Visma Ski Classics PLAY.

Qualification takes place individually – interval start for 15 seconds, length 1.5 km (3 rounds).
Final round – 1.5 km (3 rounds).
There will be a mass start of the 12 fastest men and the 6 fastest women in the finals.

Schedule
16:10 TX Start
16:15 Qualification (single athletes against the clock)
17:00 W Final
17:10 M Final
17:30 TX end (estimated)
