The IBU Cup season 2024/2025 continued today in Arber, Germany, with a 7.5km sprint race for women. After a fast day on the tracks and shooting range, Gilonne Guigonnat, from France, won the event with a solid performance.

The IBU Cup season 2024/2025 continued today in Arber, Germany, with a 7.5km sprint race for women. After a fast day on the tracks and shooting range, Gilonne Guigonnat, from France, won the event with a solid performance.

Gilonne Guigonnat, from France, took first place in the women’s 7.5km sprint race in Arber, Germany, with a total time of 20:34.0 and one missed shoot (1-0).

Amandine Mengin, also from France, snagged second place, 6.5 seconds back, and one missed shot (1-0). Voldiya Galmace Paulin completed the French podium in third place, 11.8 seconds behind the winner and one missed shot (0-1).

After Arber, the biathlon IBU Cup heads to Brezno-Osrblie (Slovakia), Italy (Open European Championships in Martell-Val Martello and IBU Cup in Ridnaun-Val Ridanna). Then, the 2024/2025 IBU Cup season ends with two stages in Estonia (Otepää).
