The Ski Classics Challengers event Energamo Lipnolopet is a 55km long-distance roller ski race in classic technique taking place this Saturday, October 5, in the Czech Republic.

On Saturday, October 5, Energamo Lipnolopet will take place in Frýdava, Czech Republic, and for another year as a Ski Classics Challengers event. 

Energamo Lipnolopet is a 55km long-distance roller ski race with 1.200 meters of total climbing. The start has a flat terrain around Lake Lipno, on the Czech Republic and Austria border.

Undulating course in the mid part of the race with stunning views of the Alps, and the finish is a challenging 5km long uphill to Svatý Tomáš (St. Thomas), where the climb can reach up to 20% of a gradient in certain places. Simply, a long-distance roller ski race with everything professional and recreational skiers would expect.

The surroundings of Lake Lipno are full of beautiful nature, many recreational areas, wellness hotels, cycling trails, and water sports, but also cable cabins, lifts, ski slopes, mountain bike trails, and treetop paths.

The event region is very popular for roller and cross-country skiing, ideal for training camps, and easily accessible from several airports (Prague 2:30, Viena 3:00, Salzburg 2:30, and Munich 3:30).

On the same day, shorter 22km, 9km, 1km sprint, and a 6.5km uphill race are also on the program. On Friday, a city sprint will be held in Frymburk, with a total distance of 1km, starting from 18:30 CET.

Energamo Lipnolopet is also part of the EDVF Skiroll Classics series, organized by the Pro Team eD system Vltava Fund Ski Team. Together, they organize several roller ski events, with Energamo Lipnolopet being the grand finale and part of the Ski Classics Challengers calendar.

Energamo Lipnolopet is a Ski Classics Challengers event. Pro Team registered athletes can collect points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in their respective genders.
